Working Principle

Hydraulic Rebar Spiral Bender uses a sophisticated mechanical and control system to automate bending processes, allowing precise pre-setting of bending angles and arcs. Key components include:

  • Driving and Passive Wheels: Steel bars are fed into the machine through the feed port. The distance between wheels is adjustable according to bar size. The active (driving) wheel feeds the steel bar smoothly, enabling fast and accurate bending.

  • Multiple Bending Molds: Interchangeable bending molds accommodate a wide range of steel bar diameters and spiral shapes, meeting diverse project requirements.

  • Control System: Advanced control ensures precise management of bending angles and speeds for consistent, high-quality results.

Applications

Hydraulic Rebar Spiral Bender is essential equipment in various industries, including:

  • Infrastructure Construction: Produces specific circular and spiral shapes of steel bars required for buildings, bridges, tunnels, and more.

  • Bridge Construction: Bends steel bars into complex shapes tailored for bridge frameworks, ensuring structural integrity and design compliance.

  • General Construction: Widely used for fabricating rebars that conform to demanding architectural and engineering standards.

Operation and Maintenance Guide

Mechanical Checks:
Before operation, inspect all mechanical components for wear or damage. Ensure the workbench and machine are level to guarantee accuracy.

Mold Installation:
Select and install the appropriate mandrel, forming shaft, or variable stop frame based on the steel bar diameter. Optimal mandrel diameter is typically 2.5 times the bar diameter for smooth bending.

Safety Inspection:
Examine the mandrel, stopper, and turntable for cracks or damage. Confirm all protective covers are firmly secured to prevent accidents.

Operation Specifications:

  • Insert the steel bar into the turntable gap, securing one end against the machine frame.

  • Do not adjust the mandrel diameter or speed settings during bending to maintain consistent results.

Run Empty First:
Test run the machine without material to verify normal operation before starting production.
